snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - NOV 4, 2012
Tasted on tap @Grove Inn, Huddersfield, on 03/11/2012. Pours of muddy orange colour with an enormous white head. Aroma is so intriguing, very sweet, flowery and grassy, quite unusual for ipa. Mouthfeel is so great, ideal carbonation provides the best taste experience. After having a sip could feel the taste changing incredibly rapidly - starting from some citrus notes, gollowing by those grassy hops and finishing with mango. Aftertaste is intensly bitter and piny. A very unclassic, delicious ipa. Recommended++ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at White Horse. Pours a clear amber gold with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of citrus with light fruit and flora backed by a sweet grain backbone. Flavor is similar with citrus and light fruit with a hint of grass and a sweet grain backbone.

Pours hazy bronze, sour scrumpy aroma, hints of pick and mix. Flavours of sour mango, sweet malt, some bitterness. Somewhat like a hoppy cider, all good.

Keg at Euston Tap 21st June 2012. Not bad, quite and interesting brew, would have again, but would not rush back for it

Keg at Euston Tap, London. An amber coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Sweet fruity aroma. Tastes slightly sweet, fruity, tropical/citrus fruit, slight bitterness too. Slightly unbalanced but quite interesting, would like to try this again sometime.

Pint at Euston, London. Pours a golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is fruity and flowery, violates and grapefruits. Sweetish flavor with toasted bread and marmite. Flowery hops as well. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Refreshing beer but nothing to crave really.

Euston Tap. Hazy amber beer, residual white head. Palate is silky and slightly sticky but that’s offset by mild carbonation. Resinous hops, mild grass. Decent toffee caramel base. Minerals. Grapefruit marmalade. Smooth finish - again with that slight tackiness in the mouth. Bitter grassy aftertaste with some peach. It ticks most of the right boxes this beer but somehow doesn’t end up as good as it should.

Keg @ The Euston Tap. Deep orange amber with a big creamy white head. The nose is plenty of juicy sweet fruits, orange sherbet and some grass. The taste is very sweet fruits, tropical juice concentrate, sugar dusted wood with a light bitter hop finish. The finish is lightly astringent. Prickly carb, and full-feeling as it’s so sweet. Overall, it’s a very sweet IPA, bit I did enjoy it. Nothing special, but not a wasted half either.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2012 Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, bubbly white head. Plenty of tangy, ripe fruits in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with some bread, citrusy jams, perhaps marmalade, some toasted dark hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sticky finish, pretty sweet with some melon, orange and other citrus and slight grassy bitterness. Not a straight-ahead IPA, but a very decent beer.

Scopey (6711) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2012
Cask at the Grove Inn Huddersfield. It pours clear amber, with a thick white head. The nose is quite sweet actually - tinned fruit, caramel and brown bread. The taste is caramel, fruit syrup, leaf, grass, hay, residual sweetness, leather, tinned peach/nectarine, soap, brown bread and alcohol warmth, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit sweet, but ok.
