Tap at Brasserie 4:20. Apparently doesn’t count as an Italian beer according to Alex Liberati. Pour is a clear, deeper orange, glowing with a healthy, sheen, rocky yellow head. Sweet orange, pineapple, fruit in the nose. Taste is spot on- sugary, fruity, melon rind, juicy hops, bitter throughout. Oily to soapy mouthfeel. Very nice.

On tap at 4:20. Pours a clear light amber with a white head. Bitter with lots of hops aromas. Also some notes of grass and hitns of pepper and spruce. Medium bodied. Medium to soft carbonation. Dry finish.

Draught at 4:20. Huge cat piss nose; powerful lemon-orange, with onion. A super distinctive nose (from summit hops I found out), with grass and minerals. Sweet, hugely fruit flavor with orange, a bit of honey, and great hops. Clean malts. Very bitter and refreshing.

Tap at Olympen restaurant, Oslo. Coppery orange colour, slitghly offwhite head. Small, but lasting head, good lacing. Some citrus and pine. Medium bitterness. Good, typical modern American IPA.

IPA di ispirazione americana. Luppoli che conferiscono sentori agrumati e di pino silvestre, sensazioni di freschezza e secchezza. Non mi ha soddisfatto più di tanto. Una volta assaggiai una west coast Ipa di Green Flash ed era tutta un’altra storia.

On tap at Selezione Birra 2012, Rimini. Pours a golden color with a nice white foam. Aroma is lightly malty with pine and citrus hops. Taste is a bit caramely with a good balance with fruity hoppiness. Good carbonation. Very refreshing and tasy. Nothing too etxreme but very well balanced.

15/06/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Ambrata, densa, con lieve schiuma biancastra appena persistente. Aroma maltato, appena caramellato, con evidenti note agrumate, fruttate (pesca, mela), con finale secco, netto e deciso. Aroma intenso di luppolo, amaro deciso e persistente ma mai troppo invadente, ben bilanciato con i malti. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Eccellente IPA, da bere e ribere senza mai stancarsi.

What a hop bomb! Smell of the fruity hops immediately apparent on the pour. Thick creamy head from compressed air dispense, lots of bitterness and plenty of hop flavour. Alcohol very noticeable.

Drank at 4:20, Rome. Hazy gold with a medium white head. Aroma of pine and hops, flavour similar with wood, pineapple, some nice sweetness and a hint of bitterness.
