Bottle from DeliciouslyDifferent. Dark brown/black colour, creamy beige foam, stays long. Soft carbonation. Easy drinkable stout. Aroma of coffee and chocolate with light notes of caramel. Bitter, light sweet hints. Well balanced.

Cask @ Rushden Historical Transport Society. Impenetrable black witha beige head. Beech smoke and seawater dominate the aroma. The taste is nothing short of incredible: sweet/salty with a meaty umami finish and aftertaste. Full creamy palette. This is a perfect oyster stout, the stuff that dreams are made of.

Bottle, bought @ Beer City, Belgium. Pours deep black with a medium, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has roasted malts, salt, liquorice, mild toasted. Medium, prickly carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has roasted malts, tar, cocoa powder, salty. Quite bitter salty and malty bitter finish. Perhaps a bit too dry.

Thx! for the sample. 33 cl. bottle sampled during Zwanze Day shenanigans. Dark brown, blackish with a tanned head. Smell is liquorish, touch dark berries jam, some roast and faint chocolate. Taste is that of sweet liquorish, dark berries, big sugar, some herbs and lighter roast, light coffee, touch chocolate. Touch less carb. med. body for a lower ABV. Stout, not special or anything but pretty satisfactory. Not getting any associations with oyster, taste-wise, I have had oysters only once in my life.
