Bottle with a best before of 1/6/2010 thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a tan head and a deep brown body. Aroma of saltwater toffee and mocha. Taste is saltwater, bitter oyster-fishiness, chocolate and salt. A lot of oyster flavor compared to any oyster stout that I have had. Creamy carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Poured black with a reddish hue and a fading medium sized tan head which vanished to leave what looked like a glass of oil. The aroma had some licorice with dark chocolate notes. Flavour was gently sweet with similar traits to the aroma and some winter fruitiness mingling with the roasted malt character. All leading to a dryish bitter finish. Good one...

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bought at the bierkoning in Amsterdam 33CLbottle.
Bottle, pours black with a thin light tan head. Cocoa, dark malt, and a slight sourness. Dark malt, a smokeyness, and a lightly sour/salty finish, maybe a little briney. Carbonation is low with a silky mouthfeel. I think the oysters are more pronounced in this that other oyster stouts Iíve had and itís nice.
