Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.

Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, sweet bread, toffee, sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, malt acidic, sugar sweet, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110428]

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival on 28 April 2011. Very dark brown. Excellent condition. Sweetish rich malts throughout. Chewy fruit on the palate with hints of chocolate and maybe even a touch of coffee. Impressive depth of flavour. A little sweetness in the mouthfeel but not too sticky. I can’t say I’m usually a big fan of Bocks but this was excellent.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2011. Very dark brown with ruby hints. Looks in cracking condition from the pour. Juicy raisins on the aroma. So drinkable. Love the raisins throughout. Lovely. Rich and drinkable slightly sticky and gorgeous.
