COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Seasonal - Winter. Also available bottled.
November’s special: An American style winter warmer named ""Dark Conspiracy"". Eddie drafted in help in the form of Phil & Steve, a couple of well traveled brewers/geeks/writers. The three of us convened in the brewery for a rare Saturday brew yesterday armed with bags of Willamette hops from Oregon (yes, the USA) and a couple of sacks of coloured malts ’aromatic’ and ’melanoidin’, German & Belgian respectively. The brew went well and for a dyed in the wool brewing loner such as I am, I thoroughly enjoyed not only the company but the influence these two chums brought to my tuns. ’Dark Conspiracy’ is a real departure from my normal style and I sincerely hope you’re going to approve.

Cask at the Cask, Pub and Kitchen. Dark brown with a light beige head. Quite and earthy nose. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla flavours. Earthy flavours with a hint of chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Interesting hop angle. Smoky, hoppy finish. Intriguing.

18/10/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (cask). Corpo medio-basso, carbonazione soft. Discreta porter all’inglese.

Cask conditioned handpump The Harp London. A black beer with a bubbly off-white head. Good roasty notes and hops thorughout this, especially in the aroma. Nice bitter roast. A nouveau porter which turns out not as robust as the aroma suggested. Still very drinkable though.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A reddish dark brown beer topped by a dense, tan head. Malty and roasted nose with some dried fruits. Quite roasted flavor too, with some coffee and a little dash of dried fruits. Smooth, dry and full-bodied. Coffee-bitter finish. A beer that I couldn’t really pin, but a decent beer it sure is. 091024

Bottle, 4.9%. Mild roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour, red shine. Small light brown head. The flavour is mildly roasted, has a good malt finish. A bit thin, but I guess that is to be expected from a mild ale.

Botle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear reddish brown with a lively beige head - a slow gusher. Dry dark fruits in the nose. Medium body, dry roasted malts and dark fruits, but absolutely no sweetness. Again dry in the finish with a vague coffeeish roast. 241009
