Cask at PSBH, 29th March. Pours to form a nice looking drink, good mouth feel and palate. Taste is OK, not as hoppy and smooth as I would like, would choose others over this one

Cask, handpump at The Grove, Huddersfield 17.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Pours light amber with a bitterness that really starts to shine through but mostly late on, its a slow burner is this beer. Touch clinical on the nose, not sure that is intentional but it is only very slight and doesn’t necessarily detract at all. Sticky, thick and full flavoured with a late bitterness showing. Cask - White Cliffs Festival 2010, Dover. Poured a hazy, golden yellow with a fine though disappearing white head. Citrus aromas of orange and lemon, an odd thick sweetness behind though. Boozy and yeasty flavours with pithy, orange peel notes and a muddy, earthy tone. Medium body, soft on the palate.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2012 Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2010. Really sorry Eddie, but I just didn’t get on with this at all. Bit of sweetness like condensed milk. Some hop on aroma. I just couldn’t finish a half. Will have it again to see if it has improved as Steve said he had it fresh from the fermenter and it tasted good 2.0/5.0 Rerate Old Brewery Tavern. Smoother than before. still a nalty ipa. still i am not quite sure. aroma is not the best but then the full mouthfeel and the building hop are really good. Sure i ended up liking it but it is a touch on the rich side.
