Cask Conditioned handpump Wig & Pen Northampton. An amber coloured beer with a whitish head. A malty beer with brown fruits and bready notes in the nose and good fruitiness in the mouth. Late bitterness too. Pretty decent.

Creamy with a soft orangey, citrus flavour. Really smooth and exceptionally drinkable. Has a lsightly odd woody taste in there as well, but not in a bad way. Great ale.

Amber color. The caramel aroma strangely has a honey tone, appreciated. The flavor instead, has something wrong, vegetables, diacetyl. Strong bitterness.

A Mes rate. Gravicask at Pigs Ear. Mid amber colour with a thin beige head. Nice burnt malt notes with a sweetness in the middle. Nice and fruity and well balanced overall. Straight down the line but still enjoyable.

Cask stillage at Pigs Ear 2008. Sweet fruit, a little sourness, some spice. Very short.

Cask handpull at The Chambers, Folkestone. Ruby/deep copper colour with lasting beige head. Rich malty aroma with earthy hops. Good condition in mouth, malt is a little syrupy, then soft earthy hops kick in . Bit of a sipper this one. Decent winter warmer. Fruits are juicy and the hop finish grows on you. Got better as the pint went down.
