Cask at the White Horse on Parson’s Green, London, England.
Cloudy light amber colour with tiny white head. Weak malty aroma with some mild hoppiness. Some caramel malt and mild fruity hoppiness in flavour. Quite unsurprising brew.

Cask. Clear golden yellow with very short dishwater bubbly head. Bitter and a bit chemical aroma with citrus and peach. Weedy hops. Tropical fruity (oranges, peach, a bit of mango seed) taste with a nasty chemical perfumy note. Grassy hops. The aftettaste is bitter and quite nasty with a soapy touch.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 29 Apr 2011) Golden yellow colour with foamy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, peaches and biscuity malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, citrus, biscuity malt and a fairly dry finish with a slightly citric bitterness. Medium body, with some malt sweetness. Well balanced and quite tasty. Enjoyable.

Bottle, bought @ Beermerchants.com.
Pours hazy pale yellow with a lovely, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet, some citric hops, sweet malts, light apple. Medium to low carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, good malty sweetness, fair dryness. Citric, piney and light spicy in the hops profile. Lingering mild bitterness. Fine drink.

Cask, gravity, at Pig ’n’ Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Pale gold with a small white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Some grape perhaps? Oily malt taste, full of breakfast cereal, came a a surprise. Mid bitter finish.

The No. 3 is a strong pale ale, with an ABV of 5% that pours a light amber with a rocky white head and a fair amount of fizz. The nose was rather citrusy, but also very spicy, with slight floral notes, as you would expect from East Kent Goldings and Fuggles. Beneath the vibrant bitterness of the beer is a very gentle toffee sweetness, which smoothes out the beer, making it is deliciously refreshing.
