3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 harrisoni (10909) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2005
Cask at brewery in Ramsgate, Kent When this is at its best it is a hoppy creamy strong ale of real class and extremely drinkable. When it isn’t at its best then it isn’t. I like Eddie’s beers though, they show character and are well made
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2005
Golden colour. Not a lot of aroma. The mouthfeel was a bit odd - a sort of chalky, slaty mineral quality. Otherwise it comes over as a fairly standard bitter - soft malts and gentle bitterness. I wouldn’t have picked it out as a stronger bitter. Cask (gravity dispense), Ealing Beer Festival 2005.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - JUN 18, 2005
Gold with a white head. Lacks aroma. Medium bodied though very smooth. Tropical fruity flavour. Strange mild bitter finish. Suprisingly chalky feel.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 joet (1919) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - FEB 10, 2005
pale sweet apples, dusty bitter bookish hops, soft mouthfeel and that’s a wrap.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2008 July, 2003: Gravity Cask, Kent Beer Festival 2003. Yeasty, bready aroma with a touch of sulphur. Clean, light taste with hints of apple leading into a dry lemony citric finish. [3.4]
Oct, 2003 The brewery, Ramsgate. Sweetish and tangy. Slightly muddled. Hops are earthy & slightly perfumey. Not as impressed on this second visit. [2.9]
Jan, 2005:The brewery, Ramsgate - with joet. Nice clean gulpable session bitter. Pear drops in the finish. [3.1]
Oct, 2008 500ml Bottle from Asda Stunning. Very drinkable - great gulps of fresh fruit and smacks of healthy hops. Ooooh, this is good. Light, refreshing, delicate, yet full of yummy flavour. Very moreish, very tasty - oh, I could drink this all night. Wonderful stuff - really wonderful! [4.7]
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 duff (5484) - Lund, SWEDEN - JUL 27, 2003
A bit sulfuric on the nose. Pretty standard bitter/pale ale. Grainy, bready malts and tangy, citrusy, slightly spicy hops. (Cask- KentBF03')
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Nuffield (3348) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 27, 2003
Large bubbled, irregular head; bright golden appearance. Dull aroma, with a bit of straw. Slightly tangy, sour flavors, bready, some light citrus, mostly defying description because it isn't anything in particular. Nothing offensive, at least. (gravity pour at 2003 Kent Beer Festival)
