330ml bottle @ Chriso’s pre-GBBF ’Raise the Roof’ Tasting ’10. Poured with a disappearing, bubbly off-white head atop a dark orangey-brown body. Warm and oaky, vinuous berry and dried fruits with earthy malt tones on the aroma. Yeasty, earthy and woody with prune notes and a bittersweet dark, red berry finish. Some decent fruity hop in here too. Soft, medium to full body, a touch warm and oily with a dry fruity bitterness.

Bottle at chriso’s pre- GBBF ’Raise the Roof’ Shindig ’10. Brown. Odd and utterly indescribable aroma. Taste is the malt extract I was given as a child, allegedly to strengthen me, but in actuality making me a beer addict in later life. Some bitterness. Grows on you.
