12oz shared by ibrew, thanks Dave. Lightly hazed toffee small tan head. Nose is plum and toffee with a very present dank horsey poop and some solvent. Plum juice and light cola, some lambic character, tobacco...but needs more body and malt.

Bottle sat outside Frank, camper at Harbury Fields campsite, Harbury, Warwickshire, 03.09.11 Quite flat from pour, pours murky brown in colour. I was a little dubious about this as it was dated BBE Dec 2010, however I assumed it would still be ok being a 9% Barley Wine. However it was far from great, little bit too much sourness, flavour’s were all a bit of a mess really and I couldn’t finish it. Will try again at some point. A5 A2 T3 P2 Ov8 2.0

nutty brown colour, faintly hazy, no bubbles this can’t be a barley wine. smells like a lambic! tame but tart thin/med body and slightly fizzy spicy lambic taste. nothing like a barleywine mild lambic tartness w/ more dark malt/ale elements. i enjoy this but it doesn’t belong anywhere on a beer style scene. and i’m really beginning to believe that this is a mistake or the beer gone bad. though i can’t say i mind.

12 oz. bottle; thanks Ibrew3or3!! Clear dark brown with trace white head; almost bretty spice nose reminding me of a Jolly Pumpkin from earlier in the night; body is thin with light tartness, oranges, leather and pepper; very strange beer

A bit medical. Euchalyptus, some sourness, a wall of malt in the background. Barrel oxidation?

Courtesy of madmitch76, thanks Ken. Pours hazy deep copper with thin off white head. The aroma is funky barrel tartness with hints of dark fruit and sweet malts off in the background. The taste is similar with out of place funky tartness slipping into a sour note as well as faint beer-ness thinly rimmed around these odd barrel notes.

Poopy fruity nose. Burny alcohol as well as tart green apples. Pours murky light brownish. Soft foam ring. No real head retention. Green apple, poopy notes, sherry notes, softer dark fruit. Tart green apple, dusty notes in finish. Soft carbonation. Interesting.
