COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular.
Pale, amber coloured ale. Clean, crisp and bitter, using Goldings and Fuggles. This is one of those "one-off" brews that proved so popular weíre keeping it as a regular.

Buona amber ale tradizionalissima inglese, bevuta al 4:20 non filtrata, con bei lieviti fa la sua porca figura in questa estate rovente.

On tap at the White Horse. Hazy amber beer, suddy white head. Light dry palate, low carbonation. Nice hops that induce a brief involuntary flutter of the eyelids! Lemon citrus with tangerine and grapefruit. A pretty fruity tasty bitter - every gobfull holds interest! Dry finish.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2008 Cask at Churchills Tavern - Ramsgate. Perfumey, hoppy aroma. Fruity malt flavour, light golden colour. Really refreshing light bitter. Before this pint Iíd found this beer fairly mediocre, but this one was outstanding.

Cask at the Lovebox Festival. Iíll be honest: I didnít take great notes on this one. In fact, I didnít really take any notes. But Iíll tell you what, this was a fine beer. A mighty fine beer, in some ways, at least. Had some dry, lightly toasted malts and hints of dried leaves. The body was light and the carbonation was fine. It wasnít very sweet and had, perhaps, some light berry notes to complement the dry, toasty malts. I enjoyed it overall.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt, light hop. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a smooth malt hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A superb session bitter and one of the best Iíve had. Brings back memories of Eddieís days at the Fiddler. Come back please Eddie, all is forgiven :-) Seriously, we would love to see your cask beers back there as guests.

Cask conditioned at The Unicorn, Canterbury. Amber with thick white head. Quite a sweetish malt bwith thick brown bread notes, grainy, bitter but very drinkable. Supped in the very beautiful and peaceful garden, a great combination on a pleasant summers day.

On cask at CP&K. It pours hazy amber with low carbonation and a thin beige head. The nose is hay, grass, biscuit and citrus fruits. The taste is sweet orange, peach, apricot, lemon, hay and some caramel. It is a surprisingly sweet-tasting bitter that hits above average.
