   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 10/20
DuffMan (6164) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 12, 2014
On tap @ MicroBar in reykjavik. Hazy bright yellow. Light banana, light lemon, some spice. Wheaty with a tart finish, but missing some essential yeast character. The tartness without a nice soft full body makes me feel as though there is something lacking here. Not bad, just not what I look for in a hefeweizen.

TBone (11926) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 23, 2014
Bottle 330ml (Stockmann Tallinn)
Hazy yellow color, small white head. Aroma has plastic and bugglegum, vinegar sourness. Medium-bodied. Lots of bubblegum, plastic, some clove and tartness in the flavor. Possible to drink but I don’t think that brewer wanted this brew to be like this.

FatPhil (8603) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 4, 2014
330m bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Where are my chips? The vinegar is awful. Some sour cider, a bit of acetone. Pale and hazy, head was very brief, leaves it looking limp. Watery palate, acidic sharpness. Plasticky, almost burnt plastic, in the mouth. Sour and horrible. Metallic tingle. Mine was cloudier than Anna’s, and it was way worse. Anna’s was more feeble, has less fuckup in in. šis is hvery baaad.

bjakk (245) - Skagafjordur, ICELAND - DEC 20, 2013
Yellowish, cloudy with white foam that dosnt last. Sour aroma with a hint of banana and apricot. Sour, hint of banana with a metallic aftertaste. Not that pleasant. High in carbon

3fourths (7799) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 19, 2013
Bottle at Backpackers Hostel, Reykjavik. This a lightly hazed pale gold weizen-type banana taffy bomb of a beer. Unpleasantly estery with a ton of banana yogurt and tart wheat and softer touches of lemon. Light sweetness, low bitterness, thin body, watery finish, drying late and becoming grating and coarse and acidic.

haukur (1203) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - JUL 15, 2013
bottle at the brewery. Citrus aroma, some hey, clove and bark. A dry finish, a bit too bubbly but a refreshing take on the style
