Dashimus (219) - London, Greater London, - MAY 25, 2013
Bottle from Vinbudin, Reykjavík. Pours black with a thick, voluminous tan head that is persistent to the end. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, milk chocolate. Nicely balanced aroma. Maybe even a hint of golden Virginia tabacco. Flavour is moderately bitter with a medium sweetness. Very long and dry finish. Disappointingly a little thin bodied but creamy mouthful nonetheless. Possible aftertaste of dark fruits very subtle.

Pours an opaque black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and lighty nutty. Taste is dark chocolate, roasted malts, espresso, coffee and has a nice almost dry finish. This is a nice full flavored stout that would benefit a bit if it was completely dry... Otherwise really nice stout and easy to drink.

Black color with compact head. Roasted malt aroma, bready, with some yeast. Smooth mouthfeel, good roasted malt flavor, some dark chocolate, light milky feeling, and light oxidisation.

Thanx to Tobias K. for this beer!
Pours deep black with sparkling brown head. Smell has lots of coffee and roasted malts. Starts sweet malty, roasty with lots of coffee and some chocolate. Middle part has more sweetish chocolatey malts as well as some burnt roasted notes. Goes into a coffee’ish finish with sweet chocolate notes.
