Tap. Shared with Stefan @Micro Bar, Reykjavik. Hazy golden body with creamy layer on top. Beautiful lacing. Aroma: horse blanket, sour milk (kefir) and cloudberries. Tastes of grain, moss and hint of cloudberries and kefir in the finish. This reminds me of childhood in North-Norway, almost feeling a bit melancholic and definitely think this is an IPA with an Icelandic twist. Iceland and North-Norway have much in common!:-) 14.Jul.2012

Best IPA I’ve had from Iceland so far. Hops come through strong and fresh. Grapefruit, lots of rind, bitter, a little pine and some peach. A little thick and sticky on the palate, frothy head and orangish. Touch of candy and malt flavor.

Nose is weak sour cream, cauliflower whiff, rosehip, pea shoot, feel is mediumbroad, taste is heavy menthol, very subtle sour cream note, quite broad rosehip bite, late bile and dominant dry hops

0,33L bottle, BB 28.08.2014. Pours clear amber with big off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is fruity, citrus, apricot, and malt. Taste is fruity, grapefruit bitter, some sweetness, and malt. Finish is grapefruit bitter. Overall: decent IPA, but a little bit too simple.

sulphursouls (41) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 4, 2014
This was an American style of IPA, which poured with a nice frothy head and had a straw like appearance. The aroma was wonderful, very hoppy, sweet resin, a variety of candied fruits. Great palate, the flavour started with a sweet fruitiness and finished in a balanced bitterness. Overall it felt very fresh and floral.

Testad på fat Reykavik. Ren fin american style IPA doft OCH smak . Inga underliga bismaker alls. Åh varken för söt eller knastertorr likt Amager öl . Utan en riktigt bra klassisk amerikan style IPA .

On tap @ MicroBar, Reykjavik. Hazy light orange, lasting white head. Lovely perfumey tropical fruit aromatics. Fresh hoppy palate, without the aspirin-like bitterness present in a couple other Icelandic IPAs and APAs I’ve had. This brewer knows how to handle his hops. Very sessionable.

330 ml bottle. BB 18/04/14. From Estonia. Courtesy of mjs. Žakka žér!
Cloudy orange colour with a small white head. Nice fruity and piney hoppy aroma with moderate bitterness and grainy maltiness. Bitter hops, grapefruit and resin in the flavour. Lacking a bit malt. One-dimensional American hopped IPA. A bit thin.

330 ml bottle at the Keflavik Airport The IPA poured a cloudy light amber with an off white head. There was lacing as well. This is great craft brewer in Iceland. The aroma was of citrus and the taste of grapefruit dominates the beer. The finish had some light resin on the tongue. This is growing craft brewer in Iceland.
