Appearance: Clean golden with limited white head.
Aroma: Almost neutral yeasty scent with sourish, sulfury notes.
Flavor: Very clean grainy, salty-cracker-like dry mouthfeel. Moderately sweet malty initial flavor leads to a vivid grassy hop ending.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Easy, soft mouthfeel. Pure mineral, refresing, soft watery feel.
Overall: Very pure and simple lager-like experience. Impressive as a thirst-quencher.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bvc (940) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - APR 8, 2010
12oz capped bottle. Pours a clean and clear rich light gold with nice uniform head. Great smelling and balanced nose...touch of honey, pepper, bright Nobel hops and crisp pale malt. The flavor is pretty much what I was expecting from the nose. Very balnced with a touch of sweetness up front than crisp and refreshing Nobel hops. A very nice bottled kolsch.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 GT2 (3439) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 29, 2010
On tap at Big Hunt. Pours straw yellow with a fairly large white, frothy head that has okay retention and lacing. Low carbonation. Nose is sweet grain, sort of macro lagerish with corn, some light fruits actually. Taste is sweet and then some fairly powerful metallic almost rusty bittering hops join in to create something crisp, biting, but very simple and subdued. Would probably be very good super fresh and on cask.
