Kegged, at a bar in the Cologne old town. Light, clear, golden yellow with a medium to high, fine, foamy head. Malty aroma, medium fragrant, with hops. Light malt flavor, somewhat fruity, with a bit of citrus and good hops. Very clean. Light, medium to better carbonation. Refreshing, light, with a good hoppy finish. Nothing really special or original, but a nice drinking, hoppy beer.

On tap at the brewpub in Köln. Pale golden with small white head.
Pretty dull nose with malt and some bread. Light body, quite sweet aftertaste. Refreshing but not particularly memorable.

Világos szalmasárga színű ital amit egy közepes és krémes hab fed be,ami közepes ideig tart.Illata élesztős és édeskés,malátás és enyhén vizes szalmás.Amikor megkóstoljuk az első íz az a sok malátáé és az élesztőé.Aztán jön hozzá a frissítő kesernyés és gyümölcsös komló.Érdekes hogy egyáltalán nem tűnik vizesnek és igen szénsavas is.Utóíze száraz,kesernyés és hosszan cseng le étvágyat csinálva maga után.Nem egy nagy durranás de szerintem ő nem is akar az lenni.Egy egyszerű,könnyen iható és igen frissítő sör.Kellemesen csalódtam benne mert ránézésre azt hittem hogy egy ízetlen ice sör lesz.

Bottle. Pours golden with white head. Smell of a skunks ass. Almost knocked me over from the aroma. Taste wasn’t much better. Not much to be desired. Maybe an old bottle, but not good.

Pale in appearence with nose of citrus, bread and hop. Taste is fruity and buttery. Not my favorite style but it is good for what it is.

Soft, bready aroma. Decent amount of flavor but nothing I could put my finger on. Incredibly light. Disappointing for a kolsch. Maybe I’m not sophisticated enough to get the bouquet of flavors or maybe they just aren’t there.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2011 On tap various places in Köln, July 2011. Golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of grainy malt, herbal hops and notable DMS. Dry and malty flavour with lots of DMS.

Bottle @ Flensburg. Pours clear pale yellow with a frothy egg white foam. Nose is sweet of svovl, grain and egg-shit or egg fart. Taste is sweet grain and corn. Medium to watery body. Dammn the aroma was plain filth.
