COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The laws protecting the brewing of kolsch are as strict as the German Purity Law of 1516. Kolsch beer can only be brewed within the city of Cologne. As the best-known kolsch brewery, Gaffel’s flavor is derived from an ale yeast that is "lagered" (or aged) in cold cellars. Gaffel is pale, faintly fruity with a crisp, hop finish. Enjoy as an aperitif or digestif.

Light yellow colored with little white head. Bitingly hopped aroma with thin flowers, good one. Medium bodied. Flavor starts with biting hops, lemon also here. Aftertaste is rather dry and biting. Not too balanced for my taste, good aroma.

Botella. Clear golden with a big nice creamy pure white well lasting head leaving a good lacing. Aroma of corn with bitter tones. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a pleasant maltiness with corn and a tickeling bitterness. Dry malty mildly bitter finish.

Clear yellow beer with a medium head. Grainy aroma,mildly bitter. The flavour is surprisingly clean, malty and biscuity but quite bland.

gold-tinged yellow, slight white head. nose of corny air. flavor is grain, corn, better than i expected, at fgirst, but once the beer starts to warm, a corn-syrup sweetness seems to emerge. light-bodied, dry finish. kind of refreshing.

From a bottle poured a clear golden color with a fair amount of head. Nice refreshing flavor with a quick finish.
