My favourite of the Kölsch beers, it has a golden and very clear appearance. This is a fine beer that is best served in the traditional small and slender glass.

Yellow beer with a white head of small bubbles. Crisp and tart with that classic Koelsch style. A beautiful beer style, makes me miss SW Germany.

Beautifully golden with a lasting head. Smells fresh yet old world. Full bodied with excellent carbonation. This is as good as it gets. Round and bitter with fresh flavors and a crisp dryness. The finish is bittered well. It goes down so smooth and quenches my thirst after a long day is the sun.

1/2 liter bottle. Pours to a beautiful, bright, staw golden color, with a tall, rocky, white head that fades, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose on this beer is excellent, with light, jammy, estery aroma, paired with subtle aromas of pale malt. The palate is round, and clean, with light pale malt flavor, with light touches of estery fruit. This beer finishes with more light pale malt flavors up front, then ends with some light herbal hop bitterness to balance. Fantastic example of kolsch, a beer you can just inhale. Many beer geeks just don’t get the subtle beauty of a good kolsch. This beer is so fresh, clean, and drinkable. The ultimate session brew.

Good beer. Like nearly all "Kölsch"-beers a litle too thin. Really tasty. The most bitter "Kölsch"- beer avalible. Best in appearance.

At the brewpub. Exceptionally clear, light gold in color. Aroma somewhat sweet with spicy undertones and flowery hop aroma, maltiness reminescent of mash. Malty sweet flavor with spicy finish and lingering malt, but clean. Effervescent and lively with a dry finish. Very nice example of a Kolsch

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2010 Bottle. Slightly sweet and flowery barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Slightly sweet and flowery and creamy malt flavor - smooth and full-bodied. Very good in the bottled version but sublime fresh at the brewpub - you finally find out why the locals rave so much about their beer - the 0.2 L glasses go down quick.
