Straight from the can in Frankfurt. The can was blue content colour unknown. The nose is doughy, creamy, sweet, grain and faint herbal notes. The taste is creamy, dough, sweetness, herbal, grass, pepper and underlying sweetness. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Easy drinking, but not a whole lot of depth to it. So-so.

I just don’t know if we could move 350 hl in a short enough time to make it work. It might be possible, in fact, but I just don’t know, and I don’t even know how we could find out.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours perfectly. Golden with a white head that falls fast. Exceptional clarity. Nose is malty with a bit of yeast. There’s a touch of grass or what I would call wet hay and a subtle white grape fruitiness. Just brilliant! Drinks like a lazy summer evening. Has a moderate carbonation that gives it lightness. It’s a touch bitter and the fruitiness is subdued but firm. The malty bearing of this beer is crisp and a true delight in it’s simplicity. Bites a little before it finishes dry and with a bit of sweetness to linger a moment.
I love it!

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: herbs and DMS. Appearance: nice golden color, poor head. Taste: low bitterness, herbal and quite spicy, dry and slightly watery. Palate: medium body and high carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: quite good kolsch. In my view there is no fruitness and zestiness, but still ok.

On tap at Bei d´r Tant , Koln, Germany, Thursday 27th March 2014 Another beer that is as clear as you like, white fluffy head, good looker. A little sweet, a little steely, but I like the maltiness, a little bit of yeast then a late burst of german hops comes to the party. A decent Kolsch. A6 A5 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4
