COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic US-style pale ale brewed with 4 iconic hop varietals. Itís full-flavoured with piny-citrus hop character and loads of caramel malts, balanced by a refreshing bitterness.

One of the best value beers Iím yet to drink. Overall, I think this beer tastes better than a lot of the "premium" pale ales on the market, the cheaper price is a bonus that makes the overall experience that much sweeter (although not literally!). Quite a fruity aroma and strong-flavoured taste, but thatís how I like my pale and golden ales. Howver, unlike other similarly strong flavoured ales, I can happily get through a six pack or more of these without it becoming overpowering. Would strongly recommend! The other beers that Iíve tried out of Gage Roads Brewery are also quality.

Bottle. Some caramel and indistinct hop flavours. Not a bad beer, especially for the price. Not exactly memorable though

One of the cheapest beers at the local Liquorland. Citrus, delicate hops bitterness, cloudy appearance. Not bad at all. Probably much better than most of the more expensive pales on offer there

Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, low white head. Fine lime and spruce hop aromatics on a light biscuit malt base. Medium light dry body, sparkles. No worries.

bottle from dan murphys in newcastle. pale golden, clear with a lingering head; decent citric aroma with hints of grass; modest bitterness, some tropical fruit chiming in; not fantastic but way better than expected

Easy to drink beer with floral notes from the hops, a little bit of bitterness following the aroma. You could easily have a session on it with friends & it could easily be a gateway beer into the world of craft beer. Overall, absolutely nothing offensive about this beer whatsoever. It is interesting enough without being over the top. It probably wonít polarise people, (especially the uninitiated) the way that some big IPAs do.

Not bad actually... this use to be me goto session pale, not because I think itís the best but found it good value for money, that is until I bought a bad batch. I hadnít even glanced at it until the changed the label and I noticed they brought out three more pale ales. this recipe has changed drastically! In a good way though. much more hop forward like a west coast us APA, ok itís no Epic Pale Ale or Yakima Monster but for ten bucks a six from DMís pretty damb good. Pours a slightly hazy (likely from the dry hops) golden yellow with an ok but average head, not long lasting but leaves a little bit of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit and some slightly piney, earthy hops, my guess, cascade, columbus and maybe a little centennial in the finish, three of my favs but could be some Simcoe? The malt bill is fairly well covered by the battering hops but thereís enough to let you know itís there, not thin but not as much body as I would prefer. Overall very good value for money in this country for this style, most examples here are generally quite week. I can see myself buying plenty of this over the coming summer.

Thin with a nice bitterness but not much else. OK and I wouldnít refuse another if offered, but with me that aint saying much.

Bottle from BWS (March 2015). Medium-dark amber, off white head, grassy hop aroma, citrus, honey-like sweetness, medium body, slight biscuity malt character, medium bitter finish. Ok.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Sherbet hoppy nose. Looks superb, deep amber beer with two finger lasting white head. Fine carbonation. Medium body, a little zing on the tongue, a bit creamy. The finish is a slight fruity bitterness with a malt undertone. Not bad, sessionable.
