Golden orange body with short lasting head. A little bit bready but mainly fruity notes on the aroma. Mildly carbonated, some hop flavour with malt support, easy drinking session beer.

330ml Bottle. Pours Golden in colour with a white head, that disappeared quickly. Not much in the aroma department.A malt driven pale ale. Nothing special.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Stew41 (1459) - Woodend, AUSTRALIA - MAY 13, 2012
Whatever..............not a bad beer but very much from the school of uninspiring. Super lightweight on malt and hops and carrying a little too much fizz for the flavours to make an impact in any event. Small amounts of passion and stone fruits define the flavour. Prefer others.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 davidm (1370) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 14, 2012
Bottle in Brisbane. Nice malty beer. Aromas of caramel, with hints of grain and grass. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a disappearing head.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Davros (1024) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 2, 2012
Pours amber with a small, fading head.
Nose shows faint nutty malt, soft fruity hops, and a little bit of caramel too.
Some caramel shows as a flavour too, along with some faint spicy hops followed by a mild bitterness.
Could use more carbonation.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bmeup (421) - Ormeau, AUSTRALIA - MAR 23, 2012
Golden amber, grassy, spice and caramel aromas, medium spicy bitterness and malty bread taste. Not to light body and average carb. Not to bad actually
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sevenlee (539) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - FEB 23, 2012
Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt with some fruity and Brady notes. The finish is very lightly bitter. Far from atomic.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rosslew (21) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 26, 2011
Has a bit of that empty taste associated with some home brews. Strong bitter taste overpowers beer. Gage Roads makes better Ales.

This beer has an ok fruit aroma backed by a decent flavour and malt backing although it could be alot better with tweaking.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20 BarossaLuke (437) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 15, 2011
This is quite a good pale ale. I’ve generally been dissapointed with Gage Roads, perhaps underwhelmed is the better word. This beer had a good hop character and flavour, nice bitterness with a clean malt finish. Not too bad.
