3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Cracked this one and drank straight from the bottle, so cannot accurately ’gage’ the head, nor the colour properly.
The first mouthful agreed with the label: Super smooth. Not in a watery kind of way, although it is an aussie lawnmower lager, but in a pleasantly malty, not-in-any-way offensive way. One of the nicest Australian lagers I have tasted in fact. Much better than I expected, would definitely prefer it to crownies, or VB or New.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 17, 2006 Released in bottles for general sale this past weekend. I drank it in the backyard on the first sunny day we’ve had in about two weeks! Crystal clear orange-amber with a lasting lacing fluffy head. On initial pour, aromas of cabbage, then soft malt. Nicely bittered malt flavours with perfect carbonation. A notable micro brewed lager, very nice!

Very clear and crisp. Had a couple that seemed easy to drink. Pretty good flavour for a lager and I didn’t find any metallic flavour at all. My guess is they need to be drunk icy cold. Golden colour and really pretty tasty

Bottle (drunk icy cold on a stinking hot day!) -- Nice orange colour with a small head that quickly went away. Very enticing malt hop aroma. It also has a nice mouth feel (perhaps a tad metallic) and a good malty flavour with good bitterness at the end. One of the nicest lagers I’ve had for a while and very, very refreshing.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at London Gathering Nov 05. Orange gold colour with no head. Quite a nice caramel aroma. Grainy malt flavours with a bit of butter. Fine. Fairly drinkable I thought

very enjoyable, quite possible due to the fact that just about every Lager I’ve had recently has been a dud!
Mainly Hop aroma with a nice blast of Hallertau hops balanced well with the malt and mouthfeel to produce an enjoyable beer. Appearence with a golden body and nice head and great mouthfeel deliver a beer that is enjoyable all round.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Looking at the rating for this one I would say they appear to have some production control issues. I found it quite pleasant - Clear gold with a small white ring-head. In the aroma I immediately got pears and floral sweetness that I found quite charming. In the mouth there were some nice fruity, floral tones, a gentle grainy sweetness, and some good refreshing bitterness in the end with a nice, long palate. Nice.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2005 Finally got myself a bottle after waiting months for the brewery to get up and running. Poured into a stem glass, bright clear light amber with very fine carbonation raising a fairly dense ˝" soapy white head that lasted and laced foam rings down the glass (5/5 on appearance). Disappointing nose, skunky, egg yolks and stale hop aroma. Thankfully this didn’t follow into the mouth as it was quite off putting (hopefully just my sample). Dry and spicy in the mouth, malty and grainy, hops are resinous and a little oily and add a degree of bitterness to balance the generous malt flavours. Very clean, flavoursome, bitter, light bodied and medium in carbonation. The Hallertau hops come out in full force as the beer begins to warm and become sour and grassy. Finish is a little short, though, but this was definitely a tasty little number and a good start for this micro. Hope the aroma improves with my next bottle.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
London Gathering Nov 05: Amber with a short white head. Simple clean malts. Not much to back it up, but bitter enough to be balanced. Suprisingly pleasant.

Clear golden, very little bubbles or head. Light hop aromas. Crisp, bitter on the tongue.
