From DM.Pumpkin beer should taste like pumpkin, yes...........no! Pale amber under the thinest head. Hint of spice, feint ginger and cardboard. If there’s pumpkin in there it’s way down the back paddock. Not distinctive enough.

Golden amber colour. Has some really nice, fresh spice with cinnamon and nutmeg. Has some pumpkin/vegetal flavours, but it works.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle - pours gold with decent white head, some lacing. Cinnamon, nutmeg and hints of caramel malt. Bit of dryness in the finish. Mild spice upfront. Watery mouthfeel.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours clear amber with a forgettable thin white head that disappears quickly. Light aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and an earthy smell. Taste is very short lived with an initial rush of spices and flavour which quickly diminishes into a bland, tasteless concoction which finishes very dry.
A strange take on the traditional US pumpkin ale that falls far short of its mark

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear amber colour with a tiny white head that fizzes away to nothing within seconds. Aroma is malt, pumpkin, ginger with some cinnamon and other spices. Taste is light to medium sweet of pumkin leading to a lightly dry, spicy finish. Not bad, just looks like shit.

640ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s. Very clear orange to amber colour with a thin dishwater head. Moderate aroma with a faint hint of cinnamon. The flavour is better than the appearance. Lively in the mouth. The first Australian pumpkin ale I’ve tried. Not up to US standards.

Never had a pumpkin beer before, but I'm glad I tried this. Nice cinnamon flavour on the nose and palate. Smooth with some sweetness but nice dry finish. Goes down easy. Good beer

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured a clear amber colour with a one- to two- finger white foamy head that retained OK and laced OK. Aroma of earthy vegetables. Taste initally a bit sweet but overall pretty bland. Light body. Soft smooth finish. To me more like a lager and inferior to the Saranac Pumpkin Ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a 640ml bottle on 1/11/2012. Pours a clear golden with barely any head. Has a modest sweet aroma of cooked vegetables. The flavour unsurprisingly features pumpkin, with a dash of cinnamon and other spices. It’s fairly subtle but pleasant enough. A decent if not particularly exciting brew.
