bluevegie (2930) - Perth, - APR 1, 2008
Pale yellow body with a short head. A little fruity (pear), yeasty, some citrus in the taste, probably a bit more body than your average mainstream lager but not too much, drinks easy enough and does a bit more for me than their New World Wheat.

330ml bottle.Very bland. Honey in colour, No aroma to speak of. The head dissipates quickly. A faint malt profile with a hint of hops. No aftertaste to speak of.

Maris (546) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAR 26, 2012
From a 330ml bottle on 26/3/2012. Pours a clear light golden with almost no head. Has a very faint smell of grain and urine. Clean and inoffensive in the mouth, with a the tiniest hint of citrus hops. Does not look, smell or taste like an ale - more like a fairly average premium pale lager.

Pours a yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is faint sweet malt. Taste is pretty much the same. Not very impressed.

Bottle. Pretty much a better version of the corona and amstels out there. In saying that its better, it doesnt mean its actually good. Just a quaffer made for mass consumption

Davros (1024) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 18, 2011
Pours gold with a a small head. Nose shows caramel and toffee in large amounts, quite nice. Similar flavours, loads of malt with honey and caramel notes, similar to the IPA. Unfortunately is fall flat quickly after that. Body seems watery. I was quite surprised with this, especially after looking at other reviews. It’s actually quite nice, and far removed from the boring pale lager-like beer I expecting...

Dervock (303) - Emu plains, AUSTRALIA - APR 8, 2011
Bottle - Pours golden with small white head. Not much of an aroma, smells like most macro lagers. Taste is a bit better and a bit of a surprise given the aroma, slightly floral taste, but a its a bit thin and watery. Not much of an after taste. Not great but not the worst.

Bottle - Clear gold. White head vanished in seconds.. Medium to high carbonation. Rather thin and watery body. Cirtussy. Mild bitterness.

ALLOVATE (1719) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - JAN 14, 2011
Tasting from Nov’ 2008.
Palest yellow and as translucent as the finest of spring water. Light bead with a ’now you seem me, now you don’t’ head. Aroma of chaff, warm boiled egg and stale hop flowers. Mild dusty hop, mild passionfruit, mild biscuity malt, everything MILD in the mouth, very watery (like they lagered this way too long!). Carbonic acid bite upfront wanes to reveal a powdery, chalky back-end and swallow with a little, and I do mean a little, lychee and pear lingering just briefly. A bit of a time waster beer for me. Can’t see the market this one’s aimed at, I just can’t understand why they bothered. Not nasty, just downright boring and forgettable! (33cL, BB 19/03/09, The Beer Store Morley)

Jade (311) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 3, 2010
Clear golden ale with moderate carbonation and a bright white head. Typical appearance of an industrial beer. Aroma is a funky, wheat concoction, non too pleasant. Taste is surprisingly not too bad - albeit watery.
