3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Slightly cloudy, strong blonde beer, seems quite a bit like a spiced up tripel. Fruity aroma, crisp taste. A bit of fruity sweetness, but not too much, leading to a good, dry finish. Good hop taste, plus herbal flavors from the myrtle, but not really bitter. Interesting, though one is enough.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear gold with a foamy white head. Aroma shows the bog myrtle similar to the floral Myrtle I use at work, peppery, with clove. Light candy necklace flavor and light fruit. Effervesent and light body.

Golden opaque beer with reddish highlights. Lots of bubblies in columns. Frothy generous persistent head.
Bready yeasty smell with fruity hints; pear and peach. Subtly spiced, cardamom and cumin, I think. Reminds me of frankinsense!
Dry on the mouth with a well balanced body of sweet and sour. Watery but with well developing taste. Delicious beer.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Yellow, light golden coloured. Ok sized head, but colapses a bit to quick for sure. Nice sticking to the glass. Smell is unpleasant spices. malts, yeast. Don’t like the smell. Taste is about the same, the spices used are just not my thing at all. More to put into medicins then into beer I think.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from City Beer. Pours hazy golden with a foamy white head and a honey and spice aroma. There is a sweet herbal flavor, bog myrtle I guess, with a peppery perfumed finish. A very odd brew, but not altogether disappointing.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330 from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours dishwater gold with a foamy 3.5 finger white head. Aroma: bog myrtle. Been there before. Wouldn’t have known the name without help, but the aroma is familiar. A Bon Secours I think. Medium body with lightly foamy carbonation. The flavor is like weird blueberry with wood. Odd flavor aside it’s pretty drinkable. Much better than the other version I had. It’s a bit sweet and gingery, but that’s good considering the base flavor. You should try it. If you go back for more, you may be weird.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
330ml at Toad in the Hole. Foggy yellow with medium white head. Initial aroma of soft malt, digestif herbs, and chicken excrement. Flavor is a lot more appealing - sarsaparilla and cream soda notes come through over an almost hospital weirdness. Strong carbonation, light astringency, and a slightly sweet finish.
