This IPA poured a light amber colour with a big, bold, very light brown coloured head. Nice lacing. To the nose there are scents of hops, hops and more hops. Citrus, juniper, pineapple and dough are the most prodominent. First swig had a creamy mouthfeel with a moderate hop flavour. Tastes of floral hops, malt and light caramel. Finish is very hoppy with the full floral flavour lingering.

500ml bottle, 6.5% a/v Pours a cloudy red/brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is citrus hops, and some malt backing. The taste is also citrus, floral and grassy hops with enough neutral malt to support it. The palate is nice and hoppy, without being unnecessarily hoppy. A great brew, and you can’t tell its a strong one either!

Bottle - 500ml. Hazy chestnut brown body with low carbonation and a lasting off-white frothy/creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with grapefruit hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy, herbal, and some woody notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Very good example of IPA.

Aroma is one of beer’s most complex features. Aroma is propelled by lively CO2 and dampened by pillowy heads - especially nitrogen foam. Click on a term below to add it to your tasting notes.

On tap at brewpub, pours a clear light amber correct with a nice off white head that leaves good lace. Smells is citrusy hops on the nose and some sweet fruit. Taste is kind of creamy at first with sweet juniper berry and then the North American hops kick in and it’s a citrus bomb finish.

A hazed amber IPA with a thick frothy mocha head. In aroma, a smooth caramel malt with floral British hops, herbal and light mint. In mouth, a nice smooth biscuit malt with grassy and piney hops, resinous, quite nice. Tasted with GRM on August 28, 2012. Merci Sylvain!

Nice taste and finish. Fairly typical ipa but overall a nice beer. Shame that Prince Edward Island doesn’t produce more. Gahan is a nice brewery!
