Can. Medium gold with an average head. Husky grainy aroma. Flavour of clean cereal malts, light kiss of grassy hops, medium sweetness. What I expected, nothing less nothing more.

(Rating #5151)

pours clear light yellow with a small white cap, little retention, no lacing. pils-like malts, fresh pale cereals, hint of grass and citrus, hint of corn, pepper. average carbonation, light body, short watery grassy finish. almost crisp. ok for what it is.

473 ml can via Candice, served cold in a tulip glass. 07SE12.

App.: Clear golden with a so-so white froth. Aroma: Oddly sweet, adjunct-rich, kinda gross cereal/rain, a touch fruity and musty, maybe a hint of funk/infection. Palate: Medium-ish body, fairly full, fine, smooth effervescence. Flav.: Vaguely sweet, grain/cereal/adjunct, is there a hint of solvent?, maybe a touch of infection, not great at all; dry with minimal bitterness and a borderline yucky/barfy-yet otherwise vapid finish.

Leaves a lot to be desired...not a great first impression.

473 ml can from NSLC. Pours a clear golden colour with modest-sized white head. Mellow aroma with grains and hints of fruit. Flavour is cereal grains, light apple and gentle grassiness. Average body. On the bland side but inoffensive.

Thanks to Phil for this. Pours deep copper gold with a moderate white top. Aroma is earthy, almost caramel malt. Taste is clean and crisp lager. Very basic and easily drinkable.

On tap at The Gahan House as part of the sampler. Pours a mostly clear pale golden color with a smallish white head. Aromas of light sweet bready malt with hints of spicy floral hop. Flavor follows the aroma. Decent enough lager, but nothing horribly complex.

Clear golden yellow pour. Frothy white head. Honey aroma. Malt, honey flavour. Syrup texture. Refreshing with a slight bitter finish.

(1153-290714)

473ml can. Clear gold yellow, lots of carbo, moderate white head. Not much aroma or taste, body is pretty light. I didn’t find it offensive, but it wasn’t remarkable either. Perfectly fine lager to have with a meal, at a campfire or on a hot day. I could drink it down fast like a 7-Up or something, doesn’t leave that bloated forced carbo feeling. Overall, macro lager done to craft standards.
