Draft in a sampler. Pours a light, clear gold color with small white bubbles that dissipate quickly. Faint malty aroma. Flavor of straw, pale malts, grainy cereal. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a dry, malty mouthfeel. Not much going on here but a nice easy drinker.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2010
Draught @ Gahan House, Charlottetown, PE: A yellow, head-less pour with a sour, straw-like vegetal aroma much like the Sir John A I tried right before it. Very watery and light with that macro-common sweet straw flavour. Is crap.
0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 austinpowers (2827) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 15, 2007

Very mainstream. Would never know it was handcrafted. That is both a compliment and a complaint.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JUN 10, 2007
Draught sample at the brewpub, May 2007. Pale, lightly hazy gold with a touch of smooth head...indistinct grassy-sweet aroma, just a touch vegetal....somewhat stale grainy flavor, not really off but enough to make for a little unpleasantness...artificially sweet at first, rather sour and cardboardy to finish...full body, rather low carbonation which makes for a syrupy mouthfeel.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 mabel (4405) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 12, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2011 [024-20060830] Tap @ Gahan House (Charlottetown, PE). Similar doughy aroma as the Honey Wheat but less presence. Golden honey-coloured body with a white creamy head. Like a yeasty, stronger version of the H.Wheat only less apple and more boozy. Fair palate. Overall nice and solid. (6/2/7/3/10) 2.8
[3857C-20110805] Tap. Mild hops grains aroma. Clear, pale golden yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Grainy flavour has a light sweet hops note. Medium body. Average. (6/3/6/3/12) 3.0
