(Draught) Thin, frothy white head with a gold lightly carbonated body. Tart and jammy yet very authentic flavour. Pleasant palate. Though its simply Sir John A’s with Raspberry --- it works well. I’d definitely be drinking this over the previous.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 radiomgb (2078) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 23, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 24, 2005 Tap at the Gahan House. Light golden yellow in colour, very small dissipating off-white head, small amounts of lace, small bubbles. The aroma was of raspberry syrup, very sweet, some grains. The flavour was of raspberries - a bit fake tasting - grains and wheat. Sweet but light tasting mouthfeel, light body, minimal carbonation. Finishes light again witth a small bitterness.

Half-pint at the pub. Hazy golden colour. Raspberry jam aroma, quite fresh. The raspberry flavour is subtle and a little tart, meshing well with the light beer base. Well done for the style.
