We love stout. We knew we wanted ours to have all the “turned-up-to-eleven” flavours of a New World stout along with the smooth, creamy mouth-feel that only rolled oats can add. Expect an almost-smoky, bittersweet chocolate flavour from a variety of roasted malts, a subtle sweetness from crystal malt, a hint of aroma hops, and a smooth full body.

On vacation in PEI. Aroma is sweet, molasses with hints of espresso and a small amount of smoke. Appearance is a thick nd slightly viscous black with a decent light brown head. Taste is smooth, smokey, and sweet. Overall a tasty and smooth stout. Would probably benefit from some oatmeal to further smooth out the edges.

Thanks Tony. A medium body, near black with a tan head. Smoky roast malt, light anise. Licorice and smoke, a very nice beer!

Pours jet black with a lasting head and nice lacing. Tastes of burnt coffee and bitter chocolate with a sweet caramel ending. One of the best stout out of Canada. Just the right Stout thickness.

This remains my favourite beer from PEIBC. Pours jet black with a large, foamy, tan head. Aromas of vanilla, coffee, chocolate. Very smooth and full bodied with an average carbonation. There is a nice light sweetness, hints of vanilla, all balanced by a roasty bitterness. A quality stout that I keep coming back to.

On tap at The Gahan House as part of the sampler. Pours a solid black color with a smallish but long lasting tan head. Aromas of roasted coffee and cream with hints of chocolate and light fruit. The flavor is roasty and sweet with bits of caramel and chocolate with just enough earth to counter. I enjoyed this a lot its a pretty decent stout.

808s n FartRates review #13, courtesy of course of a kindly northerner who’s name unfortunately escapes me.
Pours basically black with a smallish head.

The aroma is roasty & chocolaty with a good coffee character. Inviting and very quintessentially stout-like.

The flavor is a touch ashy and fairly bitter without a whole lot of sweetness, although nor is it dry. It’s very nice, roasty and rich with good dark chocolate and coffee notes.
