Poured dark, and tasted great, maybe not quite enough sweetness but still I thought it was pretty good.

500 ml flip-top bottle picked up at Maruhn in Darmstadt, Germany. Pours a clear, tea color with a quick to go frothy tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel and sweetness. Taste is rather harsh at first move slightly sweet and then ends with a tart palate that leaves a lingering bad taste in your mouth. Not terrible just not enjoyable either.

Clear golden of color with an off white head. An aroma with malt and grainy. A flavor of caramel and grainy.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry bready finish.

Dark amber color. Light aroma, some caramel, soap; metallic. The mouthfeel is too dry and weak for a Dunkel; there is a light caramel flavor and ordinary bitterness; the final is rather metallic, and very dry. Nothing Spezial.

Mild malzbetonter Antrunk mit deutlicher Karbonisierung. Das Malz nimmt leichte Holz- und Zitrusnoten an, gleichzeitig wird das Bier bitterer, insgesamt bleibt es aber weich. Zum Ende wieder hopfiger, angenehm aromatisch, was aber noch deutlich intensiver sei dürfte. 8/7/7/8/9/7

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Golden to amber body with a dense, off-white head. Pale malts and fruityness in the aroma. Straightforward and boring. Flavorwise it’s the same, pale malts and fruityness. Medium body. Nice bitterness in the end. A decent one, quite boring, but drinks easily and there’s nothing wrong with it. 110129

[ Trade by fiulijn ]. Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, sugar, roasted notes, burnt caramel notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110129]

Pours clear dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ Ulfborg Weekend, Jan 2011. Pours amber with a creamy white head. Nose is bread and grain. Flavor likewise. Quite average and a bit bland with little caramel.
