COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden beer with a burst of citrusy hop flavor paired with a solid malt backbone. Aromas of pine and citrus are prevalent due to dry-hopping with Cascade and Amarillo hops. This IPA leaves a pleasant bitterness lingering on the palate from the generous kettle additions of Galena hops.

Fresh on tap today at the brewery. Review from written notes, scoring to style Deep saturated orange color, fairly bright and clear. Sticky collar of white foam that leaves some lacing on the way down. Herbal and citrusy hop smell, dried orange peel from the Cascade and Amarillo. Moderately bitter with some citrus and caramel notes. Dry resiny finish. Meduim bodied, approaching a DIPA in terms of the abv range (7.5%), which was thankfully hidden. Pretty tasty, could be a little more aromatic and punchy with the hops. Bartender said they ran out for a week or two recently due to a scarce hop supply... better stockpile! Pint at Shakers in Ottawa. A thin off white sits on a beer that is golden with a bit of copper hue. Light lacing. This begins with a big citrus and tropical fruit line. Pineapples. Caramel grows and leads by the finish. Nice beer.

[Bottle] Bright orange color with a small beige cap of head on top. Citrus and pine hops mix with earthy grains and some grass in the nose. Herbal and resinous hops provide a sharp bitterness in the taste. Toffee and caramel provide the backbone. A tad out of balance though. Nicely disguised ABV in the otherwise dry finish. An OK beer, now let’s talk about that label art...

Can. Pours cloudy copper-orange with fluffy off-white head. Nose is nice tropical fruit/pineapple. Creamy mouthfeel. Immediate hop bitterness followed by malt sweetness.

Copper color, modest off-white head, pretty hazy overall. Nose has a caramel malt and mild toasted nose, orange citrus, modest pine. Flavor has a strong pine, low orange, light caramel and toasted presence middle with a pretty bitter pine ending. The body of the brew is modest with a slight puckering from the bitterness and low fine carbonation. Overall a very well made IPA; nice pine notes. Some unbalance with the toasted malt and hoppiness but works very well.

Tap at Galena. Orange-brown, unfiltered body. Foamy white head. Classic unfiltered brewpub IPA. Respectable big hop tones, strawy Amarillo, citrus. I’m not sure the lack of filtration works here, would be nice to have a little more clarity. As it is,full bodied and rich offering. Leans into the malt, yeast. Respectable.

Picked up a chilled 6’er at the brewery. Poured a light copper with small lingering head and good lacing. Malt was slightly nutty and followed by the profile of spruce and citrus hops, with the spruce lasting. This was a good session IPA and not overdone.

At the brewery had it in a tulip glass in draft. Appealing pour. Copper orange cloudy. Pine and citrus aroma. Very smooth and not too hoppy. Good grapefruit bitter and dry taste. Really like it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
