This is our lightest ale which has a very crisp and refreshing flavor with a slightly malty sweetness and a brilliant white head. Finishing with a hint of citrus from the hops, it is a great introduction to craft beer for the explorer, but enjoyed by connoisseurs just the same.

Aroma is mildly sweet malts and earth. The flavor is medium sweet malts, corn, light fruit and a mix of smooth and very light citrus in the finish.

12oz bottle. Hazy unfiltered orange-tan. Thin, oily white head. A sort of awkward Cream Ale. Has a quality feel to it, which includes a little more of a citrus hop punch than really suits the style. Rindy bitterness with some classic creamed corn flavors. An OK Cream Ale for sure, but I wouldnít make this a flagship beer, and I wouldnít assume it would make a good training wheels beer either.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Tap at the brewpub. Pale somewhat hazy yellow pour with a white head. Mild grain aroma. Taste is light grain, but a little creamy too. Pretty good for the style.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of bread, light toasted malt and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of bread, toasted malt and light fruittiness with a smooth malty finish.

Labeled Farmers American Ale and 5%ABV. Pours a pale, slightly cloudy gold with a 1 finger, creamy white head that has good retention and leaves sparse lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, fruity yeast esters, buttered white bread toast and a bit of creamed corn. Flavor is creamed corn, toast, and light planty and citrusy hops to the finish. Palate is light bodied with a creamy, though slightly chalky feel throughout and a light, but blanketing carbonation. Not bad as far as Cream Ales go,despite all of the corny, buttery notes. Still, not my thing.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a fluffy white head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass.

The aroma is faint and lightly grainy, lightly sweet, with a little bit of crisp malt.

The flavor is much of the same as the aroma with some light crisp and kind of sweet malt character. Some corniness gets through but itís not off putting.

It suffers only from being a little underwhelming, but itís refreshing and inoffensive which I think is pretty much the point.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2011 Poured from the bottle from the brewery.Thin head. Yellow gold, good carbonation. Lots of grain and corn in aroma.Very subltle citrus maybe some light malt sweetness.Hops vegetable like?Or is it corn?Maybe dms or hops. Taste has a good initial mouthfeel, somewhat creamy medium body but light and very drinkable, grainy corn like, mild sweetness some citrus mellow hops in there finishes clean with mild sweetness.Maybe dms from not boiling pilsner long enough picking up alot of vegetable cornness.Tap did not come off like this,i notice this with the ipa also. For 4% this is excellent although i seemed to like this better on tap.It seemed smoother and tastier than the bottle. There is a big potatoey/corn offness in aroma that is strong, unless its from the hops but its pretty vegetable.

Fresh on tap today at the brewery. Review from written notes, scoring to style (Cream Ale, stated by the brewery). Bright straw gold, copious lacing that forms drippy concentric rings in the glass. Trails of carbonation visible. The white foam has a soft creamy texture, and it sticks around for awhile, eventually fading to a broken skim. Clean and simple smell... two row malt, slightly crisp apple yeastiness, hint of flaked corn in the aroma only. Feels crisp with a little bit of apple, crackers, and mild sweetness. Finishes dry, a little bland. Overall clean with no flaws, a summer session beer or conversion beer for macro drinkers. Reviewed on: 08-04-2011

Thirsty Troll Beer Fest. Pour is straw gold with a creamy white head. Aroma shows wheat, citrus, and a touch of floral character. Flavor shows pretty much the same with grainy wheat bread being followed up with some grass. Overall body is light and the finish is lightly bitter.
