Warm it tastes like a cheap English canned lager called " bettabuy" there isn’t such a cheap beer, but I think you get the picture. Cold it is much improved, but not as good as Lidl’s Finkbrau, it’s a small beer, that is fine on a work night! Good with spicy curry! Says it is brewed in France but doesn’t really taste like a St Omer, of 1664, or Stella!

440ml can (from a four pack) on 6th Aug 2016. Cheap and cheerful, golden with a small white head. Nothing to set it apart from hundreds of similar thirst quenching light lagers/pilsners to used after cutting the grass or painting a fence. In short, bland and boring.

This budget Beer makes no fancy claims but delivers for the money. I have paid twice as much for much worse. Great for summer barbecues, serve very cold.

Can 4 pack . This genetic piss dranks fine enough. glue gun on the nose and maybe the type of glue that glue-head sniffing aficionados like . basically it’s gluey . grain , cardboard malt action too. In a bitburger jug I’d reflect this beers appearance is the best thing about it . More glue on the palate , quite sweet ,syrupy and chewy . a woody dryness cuts this .ok stuff .

440ml can from Lidl. Good for the money (4 cans for £2.79). Strong too (4.8%). Somewhat bitter after-taste and small head. Mix it with some lemonade to sweeten it up if you find it too bitter. Effects are pretty thick and fast. If you easily get headaches be careful of it, even with food. Good beer to try if you fancy a change and don’t want to be ripped-off. I like it a lot.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2015 Pretty shitty. Acidic. Like cheap lager ought to taste. Beer mouthwash. So dull it tastes like a low ABV beer. Never again. If you want a nice beer from one of the low end supermarkets go for Aldi’s Steinhauser, which is a good lager.

Can from Lidl, Wrekenton, Gateshead. Pale straw coloured with a light malty and toffee flavour, slight grassy notes followed by a thin metallic finish.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance -golden with a thin head some of which hangs around. Nose - light malt, a touch of spice and a dominant metallic note. Taste - metallic and sweet malt. Palate - light bodied with a thin texture and a finish that initially seems dry but in reality comes back with a sweet malt note. Overall - somehow it manages to be dry yet in refreshing. Not a generous beer.
