Thirst quenching ale full of fresh hops and warm maltiness, definitely a classic beer to be savored.

Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. orange beer with a light haze, and a small dense white head. Malty fruity aroma with a light bitterness. Malty sweet flavor with hints of toffee and some hoppy bitterness with a citric touch.

Hand pulled at the British Oak, Stirchley, Birmingham. Very similar in looks and falvouring to the Bristol IPA, which was also sampled in the same venue today. If anything, the flavours are even more muted and lacking than that other beer, which is worrying. Bland.

CASK: Pale amber color, low lathery head. Weak malt body with a broad hop bitter across the mouth. Quick profile and thin - almost watery. OK, but not so thrilling overall.

Cask, The Bull's Head, Pratt's Bottom. Very much in the style of a Blond Ale. Apple very much to the fore. Cider and vanilla aroma. Mild sharpness in the finish.

Sampled cask conditioned at the Danish Beer Festival.
Dark golden. Intense flowery aroma. Strikingly sweet, malty and rounded and nothing butsugar in the finish.

[cask at Cockney Pub] An orange beer with no head. The aroma is very faint with fruity notes. The flavor is flat and metallic like some cask beers. But the flavor also contains fruit and a good hops, that gives it a slight bitterness. It has a very fine balance. And is very fresh and mild which makes it easy drinkable - I'd call it a session beer.
