[cask at Cockney pub in Århus] A brown almost black beer with a small light brown head. The aroma is very faint with hints of the malt, fruit and a bit smokey. The flavor is really good - a lot better than the aroma promises - it is soft and filled with malt and fruit notes. A very nice beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Deep black, almost no head or carbonation. Although stronger than a typical Mild this is fairly light-bodied. Strongly roasted notes, yet mild and smooth with only a vague bitterness. Nice and very quaffable. 250302

Cask@GBBF2007. Very dark amber colour, close to black. Small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, fruits, raisins and some slight vanillaish notes. Flavour is the same thing along with burnt wet wood. Excellent balance.
