Bottle 0,50L. Well, Iím rating these one bought in the bottle, not on tap. Clear, amber-red colour, with stabile, off-white head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, toffee, some fruits. Taste is light sweet, more or less, with light bitter finish. It has medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation and metallic finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Mid-amber beer with the accent on malt. Quite sweet but pleasant enough if a little standard. Fullerís re-creations of Galeís beers just donít excite my tastebuds.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at Lincolnshire Poacher, Nottingham.
I wanted a classic English bitter and this did the trick. Iridescent brown colour with gentle sweet aroma. Taste is biscuity and full. Like a mouthful of muscavado with a bitterness to gently match.

Bottle BB Aug 2014. Pours brown with foamy white head. Smells yeast, lemon. Tastes malty, toffee, yeast. Not a lot going on really. Body is light but very foamy. Very drinkable although not very exciting.
