3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at Artillery Arms Moorgate. Post-exam commiseration/celebration with classmates, so short review. Amber gold, still, clear. Aroma - toned down malts. Body is medium, smooth, carbonation low. Taste is almost entirely orange squash and apple. If I were blindfolded I’d say that it is some sort of fruit cordial. Bitterness is mild. There’s something a bit sickly about it but it’s OK.

Pale amber with a slight malty aroma. Thin mouth feel and very gently hopped, so little in the way of lingering flavours. As ordinary bitters go, not a patch on Fuller’s own Chiswick Bitter.
