Cask: Regular.
Exported as George Gales Best Bitter
A new beer created from an old recipe in the Gales brewing book. Originally available as a seasonal in September, now a regular. A delightful beer full of spicy hop notes with a fruity maltiness.
Five pence from every pint of Seafarers Ale sold will be donated to Seafarers UK, a maritime charity.

Cask in the White Hart in Aldgate. A medium golden colour with white head. Standard but decent beer.

Cask at The Bent Elbow. Clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma of blackcurrant and pepper. A creamy taste with bready malts and a highly bitter finish. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel (since it was on cask).

Cask. It pours dark golden with a small white head. Nose is some toffee, citrus, grains and hops. Taste is extremely refreshing with a decise hop kick to it. Medium bitterness with. Quite good and hoppy for a classic Bitter.

On tap at the Monk’s Table. Pours a clear burnt orange with smallish white head. Aroma is toasty caramel and herbal hops with a light fruitiness. Flavour is slightly toasty toffeeish and fruity malt and modest herbal bitterness. Easy drinking, but some very British character.

Clear amber beer. Small off white head. Crispy palate, semi dry. Well balanced. Mild toffee in the malt - reasonable orange hop. Standard bitter but done well. Drinkable.

Cask@The old custom house, Portsmouth harbour. Amber colour small residual head. Aroma of floral hops. Taste is dry hops and slightly citrus. Slightly watery palate. Nice easy drinking ale.

Pours a golden copper colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of pale malts, Goldings and grass. Flavour of pale malts, Goldings, some herbs and strong dry nuttiness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a dry, harsh, bitter finish. Good one.

Fra håndpumpe på pub i London jan-11: Tydelig kjeks (Maris Otter malt?) og engelske humler. Lett karbonert som gir en myk munnfølelse. Medium bitterhet. God pubøl med bare 3,6%, gjør pubcrawl til en fornøyelse og ikke anstrengelse.

On tap at beer bistro. Clear amber, fluffy white head. Biscuity malts, big british hops, soft carb, and good mouthfeel. Medium bitterness, solid caramel, bready, biscuity malt finish.
