3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask @ Euston Flyer, London. A classic bitter colour- dark golden almost orange colour. Aroma is light malt, biscuits. Taste much the same, not very bitter. Old fashioned traditional english bitter, nice though and very sessionable. I could drink this all night even if (or maybe (defo) because of) it isn't exactly the most interesting out there beer. You don't have to think about it, and it's nice.

Malty aroma with some sour mash. Pours golden clear with decent lacing and head. Finishes a little bitter, a little sour. Average carbonation and slightly cloying texture. On tap at Monk’s Table after a long day of beer at Session yesterday.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught at Cochrane’s in Hong Kong. Pours a clear, light amber with a 2 inch frothy head. Bitter malty aroma. Body is full and has a nice bitter taste. Full and satisfying for such a light beer. Amazingly good sessionability while being full flavored yet light and still satisfying. One of the best English bitters I found on draught in Hong Kong.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draught. This is a pretty nice bitter with a good sessionable ABV. Worth a go if you see it on tap.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at The Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is weak malt leading to a medium bitter, malty flavour. The palate is rather weak and watery with just a little malt and the bitterness does fade rather quickly. If seafarers had to drink this at sea I’d be glued to a telescope searching for land!

Cask at The Bent Elbow. Clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma of blackcurrant and pepper. A creamy taste with bready malts and a highly bitter finish. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel (since it was on cask).
