UPDATED: AUG 14, 2010 2010-07-31. Crisp golden amber body, small off white head. Flavour is very mild. Touch dilute, muted citrus, hints at orange and lemon. Muted aroma has ephemeral citrus hops, muted malt, very subtle and mild. Average palate is just a touch light. Enjoyable but very mild. 6/3/6/3/13 - 3.1 Cask as Gales Seafarers at FILO, Hastings
2009-10-13. Crisp dark amber body with a tiny beige head. Aroma of fruity cardboard, light touch of cooked vegetables. Flavour is similar, mild fruity malt base, touch of astringent notes, brief toasty malt. Average palate is a touch flat. Not sure if its the beer or me today but I did not care for this one much. 4/3/4/3/9 - 2.3On tap at Volo, Toronto
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sammy (7030) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 13, 2009
tap at Bar Volo, this poured an understated carbonation and a light orange colour, with little but pleasant white head. Neutral aroma, and a tad below average mouthfeel. Rather understated bitterness, drinkable nevertheless.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 leaparsons (7069) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2009
Cask, GBBF 09. Amber with a small head. Aromas are biscuit and grain with citrus hops. Flavours are grain and citrus with some hints of sulphur. Drank in a rush at the end of the festival but still getting the impression that its a bit crap.

Cask - Clear amber with a small & creamy white head. Nutty, biscuity malt aromas with caramel and a touch of grassiness. Good balance between sweetish malt flavours and a dry hoppiness. Softish mouthfeel, low carbonation, short, dry bitterness in the finish. It’s an English session bitter...

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 imdownthepub (8470) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2009
Cask conditioned at The Wykeham Arms, Winchester. Amber with white head. Pretty standard thinnish light bitter, restrained, grainy, mashy and yes somewhat boring, the pub was interesting though if a little too gastro for my liking.
2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 SilkTork (4898) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - JUL 16, 2009
June 2009 Cask at Lewes Arms, Lewes, during the RateBeer Harveys Brewery Tour Boring and unattractive with a green apple taste. Like drinking a regular bitter through a dirty sock. [2.2]
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 2, 2009
Cask at the Lewes Arms, 8th June 09. Clear, classic amber look with a small white head. Rather watery, with a disconcerting green apple & washing-up liquid taste, that becomes more apparent as you go through the glass. Hops hardly figure.
