Golden pour with a thin white head. The aroma is softly fruity and a little bit hoppy. Has a little bit of estery sweetness and a touch of crackery malt. There’s a little bit of berry flavour. Light bodied but pretty nice. Quaffable ale.

Cask at Parcel Yard, Friday 13th March 2015 in company of Dad & Barry Looks superb beautiful orange with a filmy white head, looks stunning. Sadly the taste doesn’t quite match the appearance, it’s a reasonable bitter. Buzzy and clacky, middling bitterness, it’s got a fruity bite, ok. Cannot believe I hadn’t rated it yet. Cask. The beer is flat and almost no taste. Watery with some esters. Nothing worth a try.

From the cask at the Hollybush in Hampstead. Light copper in colour with a slightly amber head of loose foam. Malt and hop aromas. The taste a has a soft maltiness which gives way to pleasant, fruity bitterness of, I would guess, English hops. A lovely pint of ordinary bitter with excellent balance. Medium to low strength and highly palatable.
