Nice bitter. Golden colour, nice white foamy head and a light fizz on the tongue. Very smooth and drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Cask at Pikkulintu, 20130411) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had honey and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, honey, sweetness, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. The cask hadn’t reached its prime yet. A decent golden ale.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Given that I like Fuller’s and I like golden ales, this was pretty disappointing. Fine and perfectly drinkable, but really not the sort of character you’d expect from the style. Maybe just poorly kept or something but I found this one really boring.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at The Bull Inn, Sonning, Berkshire (lovely old atmospheric Inn in a beautiful English setting). A golden/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top.Vague fruity, floral, hoppy aroma. Tastes similar, fruity, hoppy, floral, slightly dry. I struggled to finish this pint which was served in a Fullers Inn so it should have been in decent condition but it was certainly lacking.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Mawsons Arms, Chiswick, 25/03/13.
Clear pale golden with a thin white head.
Nose is orange, light grapefruit, hops, sweet mango notes.
Taste comprises tropical fruits, zesty orange peel, grapefruit, light sugars, hint of pine.
Medium bodied with fine carbonation, bitter and sweet notes in the finish.
A more than decent fresh hoppy number akin to an IPA light! Could session on this very easily!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured a bright Amber with no head and so cold it had practically no aroma. Left to warm up, some lively citrus notes appeared. Medium body, aroma was of light florall hops over grapefruit/lemon with a minimal bitter finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask @ In De Wildeman. Clear amber/copper color. No head. Aroma’s: fruity, grassy, a bit grainish and some caramel 7 biscuity malt. Flavor is grainsh, with a light malty sweetness. Light bodied, not thin. Finishes with a nice earthy hop-bitterness. Tasty.
