3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beerandbeyond (452) - ISRAEL - JAN 19, 2013
Bottle sample at the brewery.
Slightly hazy amber color with no head.
Sweet and spicy nose (ginger, clove, nutmeg), with some caramel and faint pumpkin.
Sweet malt flavor, low bitterness, marmalade, some spice and winter cookies.
Medium body, feels a bit alcoholic but overall a decent pumpkin ale.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ThreeCats (297) - ISRAEL - MAR 28, 2012
From two months old bottle (still well before expiration) Pours dark amber with a small foamy head. Aroma of malt, some spices, a little pumpkin but fairly faint. Light body with not much flavor at first but pumpkin and spices sort of develop on tongue. Decent Amber ale, but the promised pumpkin character was kinda missing. Possibly this beer should only be drunk fresh.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 DSG (3927) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 11, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2012 Draught sample at "Beers 2012" exhibition in Tel Aviv. Hazy orange. Aroma of fresh fruits (a bit of prickly pear and pear), some pumpkin and sweet spices. Sweet flavor with sweet spices, fruits, malt and caramel. Light to medium-bodied. This one’s not bad, but I’m never too fond of pumpkin ales.
