Fun fruity beer. Light pumpkin flavor. I remember it having more pumpkin presence when I tried it in the past, that’s how I would prefer it. But there is that much you can do with Israeli pumpkins.

Bottle sample at the brewery. Slightly hazy amber color with no head. Sweet and spicy nose (ginger, clove, nutmeg), with some caramel and faint pumpkin. Sweet malt flavor, low bitterness, marmalade, some spice and winter cookies. Medium body, feels a bit alcoholic but overall a decent pumpkin ale.

From two months old bottle (still well before expiration) Pours dark amber with a small foamy head. Aroma of malt, some spices, a little pumpkin but fairly faint. Light body with not much flavor at first but pumpkin and spices sort of develop on tongue. Decent Amber ale, but the promised pumpkin character was kinda missing. Possibly this beer should only be drunk fresh.

At the 2nd Israeli Beer Exhibition, pours clear orange to brown, aroma of carrot, honey, malt, carambola and hops, flavor of caramelized pumpkin, malt, papaya jam, intense carbonation, medium bodied, pretty nice

Draught sample, hazy deep orange colour, malty aroma with pumpkin, flavour of pumpkin and sweet spices, cinamon, nutmeg and maybe allspice, feels smooth and quite thick. Drinkable and well made.

Sample at the Beers 2012 expo in Tel Aviv. Cloudy, foamless orangey liquid, pumpkin, cooked vegetables sweet aroma, sweet, cinnamon taste that reminds me of Belgian caramel biscuits. Medium body, light carbonation, smooth.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2012 Draught sample at "Beers 2012" exhibition in Tel Aviv. Hazy orange. Aroma of fresh fruits (a bit of prickly pear and pear), some pumpkin and sweet spices. Sweet flavor with sweet spices, fruits, malt and caramel. Light to medium-bodied. This one’s not bad, but I’m never too fond of pumpkin ales.
