Aroma is very light. Some nuts and chocolate perhaps, but thats it. Brown beer duh. Sweet nutty malts with a touch of tartness and a light crisp hoppy finish. Thought it was a touch acidic.

Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear brown color with a small off-white head. Has a malty nutty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty and slightly nutty caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty finish.

Aroma – Dark malt aroma with a light hops background.
Appearance – Brown in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor – Decent brown ale flavor with a nice nut backing in the flavor.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, nice nutty beer texture with a dry finish.
Overall – This was a very nice nut brown ale.

Dark brown beer, crystal clear with a thick tan head. Aroma is thin, no real nuttiness, but more of a herbal yeastiness with some sweaty yeast. Flavour shows light caramel, toast, nutmeg and herbs. Not terribly successful.
