2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
As "Famosa" here in the states. Pours a very pale golden with some floating flakes of sediment and a fair, bubbly white head that settles to a film and a ring, leaving just a couple lace spots. Nose involves soft bubblegum, some husky grain, a touch of mint, and not much else. Somewhat sweet, very lightly bitter. Extremely light bodied, fair carb, a bit watery, with a fairly clean and lightly doughy finish. Nothing offensive here. Nothing necessarily interesting either. I’d probably go for Schlitz before this, but it’s ok.

Nothing special about this brew. Pretty watery and forgettable. Pour is very thin colored and no head.

Taste of a cheap macro lager. But I sure enjoyed them when I was in Guatemala.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This quality rate was supplied by the fine folks at Beer Run. The pour’s clear gold with a modest white head that quickly settles. The nose is white bread, newspaper, a bit of honey. The taste is green apple, pear, honey. Soft grain. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, not nearly as terrible as I was afraid it might be.

This beer was very refreshing in the context of a fantastic Mexican lunch. Light, macro, flavor.

Poured a pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of grains and cereal, corn and light fruity notes. A light body with moderate carbonation, a bit watery. Finish the same as taste with a bit of a bitter grain ending. Best served cold and drink fast, as it warmed up aroma and taste begin to deteriorate. There are a lot of good brews out there, this is not one of them.

Bottle. Pale yellow beer with small head. Aroma is faintly grainy. Taste is lager malts, grain and some hop bitterness. Not bad for a Pale lager. This was a beer I used to drink in Guatemala, a nice trip down memory lane drinking this.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Yellow pour, no head. Nose is grain (Corn). Sweet. Middle is a mess; various (barely) malted grain flavors. Finish is sweet. Drink it quick, warmth does not help the flavor.

This smells similar to a Heineken very skunky nose with a very subtle hop presence. Overall decent due to the smoothness

Very refreshing beer from an unbelievable brewery in Guatemala! The quality of the product is top notch with the worlds best ingredients. The aroma is light and effervescent. The taste is full bodied yet has a refreshing good beer taste.
