A clear golden lager beer with a characteristic body, fine bitternes and delicate aroma. Because of its full-bodied and balanced flavor it has become the preferred choice for those who enjoy a premium quality beer. This beer is sold in USA as Famosa

(Bottled) Very, very pale pee-yellow color with hardly any head. Corny, sweetish, slightly harshly hoppy aroma. Very light, sour-sweetish corny maltiness with some hops and no finish. Quite clean, though. Very light-bodied, dishwashing-liquid palate. As easy to drink as tap water. Will work fine, if you don’t like the taste of beer in general.

This is pure water. Extremely pale coloured. No aroma. No flavour. A truly ridiculous brew.

The colour is clear, pale-pale-pale yellow. The small foam is white, very light and almost transparent. The foam shrinks quite a lot, but doesn’t dissaper completely. The weak smell is somewhat sweet with touches of corn and a gentle hint of hops. There are also some sourish notes. The carbonation is strong and the beer develops some foam in the mouth. Odd… The taste is light and almost watery. The palette starts with a typical sweet touch from corn, which develops into a gentle maltiness. Then, a short bitterness evolves and is followed by that corn-flavour again. I cannot really see the point of importing this brew from Central America to Northern Europe. But then again, I am not really a light-lager-personality...

White head, pale yellow body. Bad and sour aroma of maize and brewing mash. Thin and watery flavor, notes of malt, maize and citrus. An extremely bad beer and I don’t know whether or not to thanks madsberg for sharing this new country with me ;-)

A light yellow beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is sour. The flavor is sour with hints of hops and a dry end. The sourness must come from brewing cereal.

Bottled: Pale yellow coloured. Very light and clear. Small white head. Iron, malt and loads of water in flavour and aroma. Not much to give life to the palate. Damned this is bad.

Looked like water when poured into the glass. Extremely pale with neon white head. Aroma sulfury. Soapy palate. Taste: maybe. Might be a hint of banana in the far distance. Sweet lactic aftertaste. Did not manage to drink the whole bottle of 35.5 cl.

A roosters head on the label, this has to be bad. And it is. This must be the Guatemalan Miller. Cerveza Gallo should be Cerveza Malo.

i guess this is why guatemala isn’t known for its beer? extremely pale yellow, pathetic corn and sour hops aroma. no flavor to speak of, but at least it’s smooth. i would drink this, but definitely not savor it.
