1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
About as pale yellow as you can get and still have some color. Lively bubbling, but little of any head. The aroma is a faint corn and pungent grass blend. Flavorwise, you get a sugary corn syrup, generic malt, and fresh grass bitterness. Mostly harmless.

12oz bottle-An aroma of corn and grass on a beer with an over abundant of head that retains itself pretty well. Has a taste of corn with a light body that did not have that typical south american taste or smell. I was somewhat impressed that my bottle wasnít skunky or had a bad taste. Not bad or good.

1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
From a 12 oz. twist cap long neck brown bottle with no bottled/freshness date.
Actually made an average macro appearance, poured a clear pale straw golden with a nice foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking, good carbonation. It goes downhill from here.
Had a nose of cooked corn, husks and a light grassiness, the cooked corn ruins it for me.
A crisp, slick and thin light bodied mouthfeel, because of smell and taste, unimpressive drinkability.
The tastes arenít that strong, a bit watery, but kind of foul overall, cooked corn and husky, a faint grassiness and dry sweet water downed malty finish, pretty unappealing.
Well, Iíve tried it and now I donít have wonder if I should pick it up when I see on the singles rack, wonít be buying again, mystery solved.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
The aroma is light but seems to have sugar and slightly herbal hops. The appearance is very pale yellow and comparable to a N/A beer. The head is nearly non-existent. The flavor is a little tart with corn and mild astringent bitterness. The palate is thin but not surprising. Famous or Infamous?

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Iím somewhat embarassed to admit it, but this one was kinda tasty for a pale lager (more than corn, for sure). Poured the pale yellow color with an initial 1cm head that just died quickly. Man, really watered down looking. Aroma from the bottle was all skunk. That went away, though. First sip was wooo, zingy. Hops? Wow, this thing has some flavor, grassy hops coming through, although not quite to a real quality pilsner level. But hey, for a pale lager, this wasnít a bad showing. Slight acidic / citrus touch to it all. Iíd drink this again, despite now having the stamp in my beer passport for Guatemala.

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle. Sour old barley malt/body odor aroma. Light golden yellow color. Thankfully the flavor isnít quite as bad as the smell - still get an old barley malt flavor but the BO doesnít come out as strong. Possibly an old bottle but probably still a typical Central Am beer - decent when youíre hot and sweaty but nothing great.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
pours yellow with a medium head. I had to virtually suck this stuff up my nose before I found and sense of smell, which was very grainy. Taste was bitter but did not have much else.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours pale golden with a decent sized white head. Aroma of sweet malts and grain. Flavor is sweet up-front, slightly watery, but drinkable. Thin body, but not a bad summer beer.

1.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very light, crisp, clean drinking lager. Froth is slightly creamy. Easy to swallow on a hot summers day. Better than other mass produced lagers.
