I feel stupid for getting a 6/pk of this brew, but he would part it out 1 at a time.Low on flavor skunky and mild malt maybe some hops and little else. This stuff is just not good.As some of the others have said in there rating of this brew.It works if the water source is in question.Well i guess that is true but i think a purifier for the water will save you.I can't believe i have 5 more to go.

Looked and tasted like a cheap lager. Was expecting it to not be anything great and it wasnít. Not sure where the sulfite came in to it but it was noted on the CAN that it was in there.

Poured from a bottle. Weak clear yellow off-putting color. Gunk on top. Malty flavor and tangy, could be worse.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
An unpleasant sweaty yeast aroma, pours a clear gold color with a short lasting white head. A bitter funky grassy taste. Weak body and a lasting unpleasant wet hay finish.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Originally rated on 8/1/08.Clear golden yellow with a frothy white head. Not much aroma, tastes of a little corn and hay. A little lacing was left on my glass, overall its what you would expect, a bland, unexciting third world beer

Pretty average through and through. I drank one of the 34-ish ounce bottles, and I had it slightly warm or room temperature. Smell is cold wet hay and corn fluff, sweetness and some malt. Taste is a big nothiní, it doesnít subscribe to anything specifically, though it is very drinkable. Watery, sure, but still itís better than Sol.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This is in a brown bottle but still skunked to high hell. Itís clear yellow with a foamy head. I reckon this would be rather drinkable and nice but itís a little too sweet, which does bring out a nice cereal note but still not great. I wonít mind drinking the whole giant bottle of it though. A brother can get damn thirsty in this day and age.

Ubiquitous in Guate. A thirst quencher. Better than water? Make sure itís cold.

I have spent quite a bit of time in Guatemala and Gallo has never failed me in my quest to cool off after a hot day of work. The secret to making Gallo taste really incredible is to squeeze a bit of lime in it. Not too much just a bit. It does have a hay smell with a golden, clear color. Not uch head when poured minimal head it has a verslight light sweetness to it. Its my personal favorite when there.
